Why Resiliency and Health Institute Chose Back2Basics to Redesign and Enhance Their Website Experience.
In 2014, Kate Rickord and Sarah Fuerst wanted to create a place outside other established clinics where they could provide essential supportive services and foster nurturing environments for emerging clinicians. They knew that by offering professional development experiences in their own clinics, they could and would ensure that the communities they served would continue to receive care from well-trained and compassionate professionals.

“Our approach is rooted in the understanding that a resilient community is built on strong, supportive relationships and continuous learning,” the co-founders stated.
As they moved forward with their mission and founded Resiliency and Health Institute, the two founders realized they were facing a surmounting obstacle in the quality and maintenance of their web presence and current website. They knew it was imperative that Resiliency and Health Institute’s website needed a more impactful design befitting their brand and what they stood for and it needed a place where their practitioners could be highlighted, ensuring that clients or referring parties could and would have a clear expectation when reaching out about services.
“The future of the mental health field looks to be more accessible, holistic, and inclusive, with a strong emphasis on preventive care, technology integration, and trauma-informed practices.”
However, technology integration, design, and accessibility can encompass many different aspects depending on the organization or those looking to use it, and maintaining the aesthetics, quality, and timeliness of needed updates on a website was a bit out of these businesswomen’s wheelhouse.
Enter Back2Basics.
With expertise in website design and management, Back2Basics worked with the RHI leadership to transform their website in a manner that better reflected its mission and standards of service.

The redesign was elevated to meet the caliber of service promised through the culture of the clinic and its practitioner family.
It started with a new layout and navigation of the existing information and was then enhanced with the showcase of two locations serving clients, as well as highlighting individual practitioner profiles fortified with their individual service locations (in person or online), expertise, and availability.
This visible information became crucial during a time when so many were dealing with Covid and other airborne or respiratory illnesses that restricted in-person visitation, and it continues to be a vital solution for those clients of Resiliency and Health who need more flexibility in access to great mental health and wellness solutions.
The collaboration also helped realign and even streamline RHI’s communication process for setting appointments. It also increased their ability to reach a wider audience with their mental health and wellness service solutions.
Beyond the website redesign, the partnership developed a tailored ‘after-launch’ solution for the founders. They needed an option for ongoing website updates and operational maintenance that would ensure the website would remain secure and perform effectively for its clients and practitioners going forward.
In conclusion, the partnership with Back2Basics empowered Resiliency and Health Institute to establish its excellence in care under a refined brand presence. They continue to maintain high standards of their website visibility while providing a space for vital updates on information crucial to their potential clients and referral sources.
